THE WAIT IS OVER MY PEOPLE!! We have now entered the grand and mysterious world of Physics. The world of rock candy and crystals is AMAAAZZZINGGGG! We can relate this to the properties of matter. Many of you might have thought that it is just chemistry but no we can talk all about the compunds and mixtures of elements and structures when they are mixed, and the structure of the crytals, and the density of the object.Ya see, well you can relate physics to pretty much everything :) stay tuned for more of the deets(details if ya didn't catch that). Much love to my fellow homo sapian sapian.
This beautiful song describes the struggles and barriers we must overcome to make our Rock Candy. Please dim the lights and listen with ease.

A little science behind the magic
The candy making is off to a ROCKin' start! Our first Rock candy is in the middle of growing. Sweet Pics are on the way. To start our experiment we boiled one cup of water. After the water came to a boil we slowly added 3 cups of sugar. After about one mintue of stirring the mixture became a thick syrup. We threw in some food coloring and a 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract for that extra kick! After two days of growing the crystals are off to a nice start. yay :)
